When it comes to fishing the many area lakes in Marten River and Temagami Ontario we offer a beautiful and unique experience. Marten River is literally covered in many lakes filled with walleye, northern pike, lake trout, small and largemouth bass, perch and whitefish.

Fishing Red Cedar Lake

Red Cedar Lake is a lake in Marten River Ontario it is an excellent home for walleye, as well as trophy northern pike, smallmouth bass, perch and lake trout. Red Cedar Lake is over 16 miles long with 90 miles of scenic shoreline. The Marten River flows into the Red Cedar Lake and the Temagami River flows through the lake. It is a man made lake originally created by damming to permit logging drives. Red Cedar Lake now serves as a man-made reservoir for hydro-electric generating stations and the water level may vary because of this.
